The paper workshop is dedicated to the research and manufacture of handmade cotton-rag paper. Since 2010 the paper produced has been used for some of the editions printed in our workshops and we have recently begun to distribute it to other workshops around the country.

The raw material used is cotton from used hotel towels, taking up the old European tradition of making paper from rags. We do not use bleach or any chemical products in the process, on the principle of protecting the environment and avoiding the possibility of traces of acid remaining in the finished paper.

The paper we have produced shows excellent printing qualities for both etching and lithography. It is produced in different sizes, and at present 50 X 25 cm. is the largest available, though we are continually working to produce larger sizes.
